Overview
The Five Base Camp Trek is an extraordinary adventure that takes trekkers to the base camps of five of the most iconic peaks in the Karakorum Range: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and Chogolisa. This extended trek provides an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dramatic landscapes, remote glaciers, and towering summits that define the Karakorum.
The trek follows the same initial route as the K2 Base Camp Trek but extends to the less-frequented base camps of the Gasherbrum peaks and Chogolisa. It offers a unique perspective on the region’s immense beauty and is ideal for trekkers seeking a more comprehensive exploration of the Karakorum’s most famous mountains.
